Friday the weather brighten up a little and, at least at our house, the wind had died down some what. the voice of the wee man inevitably shrieked ”Can we go out?” Since I was feeling relatively good that day it seemed like a good idea.
Some where I had been meaning to explore for long time was Yeadon Tarn so D was told we were off on an “adventure” and off we went.
To be honest there isn’t anything hugely spectacular about it. There are ducks, geese and seagulls to feed, a play park, a small picnic area and the sailing club. The only other thing that caught D’s attention was the occasional plane taking off or landing at the neighbouring airport. Maybe it would be more appealing in the summer with the batter weather and the boats out on the water but for the moment I won’t be rushing back.
It could be the lack of spaces to explore. There are some small clumps of trees dotted around including some very uninspiring squares of evergreens but other than that you pretty much have to stick to the path before you. Will try again in the summer I think but only when D starts asking to see the boats.
